The ceasefire has been confirmed, and that has been well received by the markets. No doubt there are half-truths and complications, but the bond market has taken the news well, which is important.
UK and US 2-Year Bond Yields
The dollar is down, oil is down, gold is up, and Bitcoin is up, along with most stocks and bonds. It is reasonable to assume that this recovery will continue and that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen. I will add equity exposure to the portfolios with a focus on emerging markets and a UK housebuilder.

There is also the risk that the bond issuer could default on their obligations to pay interest as scheduled, or to repay capital at the maturity of the bond.
Taxation - Profits from investments, and any profits from converting cryptocurrency back into fiat currency is subject to capital gains tax. Tax treatment depends on individual circumstances and may be subject to change.
