To celebrate BOLD’s launch on the London Stock Exchange this morning, I recorded a discussion with Izabella Kaminska, the founding editor of The Blind Spot. Prior to that she was a senior editor for POLITICO, but perhaps best known for her time at the Financial Times, where she edited the excellent Alphaville. A decade ago, she led the charge against Bitcoin, but in 2020, came around to the idea.
In our discussion, she tells us how she used to believe in the system, but now embraces independence. I welcomed her to challenge me on BOLD, and the concept, but she seemed to like it, but being a journalist with high integrity, would never endorse it. Quite right.
