Become a ByteTree Affiliate

If you are a fan of ByteTree Research, you can help spread the word with our affiliate program. It is a simple process whereby you refer us to a friend or colleague, and we split the proceeds with you. They would get the benefits of becoming ByteTree clients in this turbulent world, and this is what you would receive per client:

  • 50% of the revenue for one year (£150 for ByteFolio, £180 for The Multi-Asset Investor, or £480 for PRO).
  • 35% of the revenue for two years (£210 for ByteFolio, £252 for The Multi-Asset Investor, or £672 for PRO).

You’ll be paid quarterly in arrears straight into your bank account. Better still, if your referral originally subscribed to The Multi-Asset Investor and later upgraded to PRO, your commission will automatically switch to the payments received for PRO. There are no limits to how many clients you can introduce, and your account gives you real-time access to your progress. All you need to do is set up your account by following the instructions below and then send a personal link to friends and colleagues who you think may benefit from our research.

Thank you for being a ByteTree client, and please only introduce people who you think would genuinely benefit from ByteTree Research.

Can I move to the other affiliate commission program at a later date?

Yes, you can move to the other affiliate commission program at a later date. However, any referrals tracked in your original commission program will continue to be tracked under that program, while any new referrals will be tracked in the commission program you’ve switched to. To change your affiliate commission program, please get in touch with us at affiliate-support@bytetree.com

How do I use the referral links?

You can find your referral links on the home page of your affiliate account. These are recognised by “?fpr=” followed by your unique code. We’ve given you some links to get started, but you can also create a new referral link for any page or article on ByteTree.com.

How does the referral link tracking work?

The unique code at the end of the URL, “?fpr=XXXXX”, is directly linked to your affiliate account. Whenever someone clicks on a link that includes your unique affiliate code, they will be tracked for 60 days. If they become a paid subscriber, this will be logged in your account, and you will receive a commission from that subscription, as defined in your affiliate account. For full details, please see the Affiliate Terms & Conditions Agreement.

What if someone navigates away from the page I shared and purchases a subscription – does it still count towards my commission?

The referral link is simply a gateway for the affiliate tracking system. Once someone has clicked the link, they will continue to be tracked on ByteTree.com. The tracking for the referral link is valid for 60 days from the moment the link was clicked. Provided they purchase a subscription within this time frame, it will count towards your commission. For full details, please see the Affiliate Terms & Conditions Agreement.

What if my referral changes their subscription to a different tier?

This will automatically continue to count towards your commission. If they upgrade to a subscription tier with a higher monthly cost, you will receive the commission percentage for the new, higher payment. This, of course, also works the same way if they downgrade to a subscription tier with a lower monthly cost. There is no limit to how many times someone can change their subscription. This will continue to be tracked as your referral for the term as defined in your affiliate account.

When do I receive my commission?

We pay commissions near the start of every quarter, but you need to have a minimum of one month’s commission in arrears. For example, to receive a commission payout in Q1, you will need to have an outstanding commission payout dating back to November at the latest. Commission payouts that do not fall within this timeframe will be paid near the start of the following quarter instead. For full details, please see the Affiliate Terms & Conditions Agreement.

Where can I find the Terms and Conditions Agreement?

You can always access the Terms and Conditions Agreement in your First Promoter account settings. Click on your profile name in the top-right corner of the page and select “Profile Settings”. Find “Agreements” and click “View Agreements”. On the following page, click “View”, which will show you the full document.
